Estate planning depends upon whom you see and what you characterize. There is no set formula that I know of, that says this is estate planning. In my practice, what we do is we talk. We find out who you are, who your children are, what’s in your family. And then we talk about what you own, how you own it. Then we only talk about what you wanna do with it after you’re gone, and that we talk in terms of goals. Do you want your child to have a college education if you’re not around, or do you wanna set up a trust fund? However you want to do, but we help explore that. It’s my job to make you think of things you hadn’t thought of. That’s what we call estate planning in my practice.
