It seems to me the way to choose an attorney is like any other professional. Number one, do we meet face to face or on some other video media where we talk face to face. Number two, when we do that do I like him?

Then the second major area is does he know what he’s talking about? And the only way you can really figure this out is to look at the books in his library. What does he look at? What are the stuff that he has at his hands for ready reference? You can also call a couple of references, if he has them on his website.

But basically, it’s word of mouth and most importantly it’s can I talk to this person? Will he talk to me? Does he answer me at a level with which I can understand? And do I have a sense of security that he’s going to go out of his way to protect me and my interests and get me what I want?
